Soul Eater OST2 - The Latest Iwasaki/Kasahara Song

I think I might have posted my Yuri Kasahara Anime Compilation Album a bit too early! Indeed, a new Kasahara song was just released in the Soul Eater OST 2 by amazing composer Taku Iwasaki! It is intitled Kindertotenlied (which means "song on the death of children" in german!).

8/10 The latest Iwasaki/Kasahara collaboration is yet another amazing song. Kindertotenlied feels like a true classical track that could well be a part of some 19th century Opera! It's also full of despair and fits perfectly with the dark Soul Eater atmosphere. It truly amazes me how, both Iwasaki's and Kasahara's combined talents always make for the most wonderful songs.

Soul Eater ED4 - Strength by Abindgon Boys School

Soul Eater has a new ED song called Strength. It is sung by rock band Abingdon Boys School. The band is fronted by Takanori Nishikawa (aka T.M. Revolution)who also did the awesome first OP for Soul Eater, Resonance. Abingdon Boys School have already done songs for other famous animes, like Nana, D. Gray Man and Darker Than Black.

7/10 Strenght is really nice rock song, that starts off with a nice piano part. It's quite enjoyable, mostly because of Takanori's awesome vocals and also because of its cool melody. The chorus is also pretty catchy...

Soul Eater ED3 - Bakusou Yumeuta by Diggy-MO

Let's review a new ED: This time the new ending theme song of the hugely popular anime Soul Eater (give it up for Excalibur! *sigh*). It's called Bakusou Yumeuta by Diggy-MO. Diggy-MO was one of the first Japanese rappers to begin mixing English and Japanese and he has been classically trained on the piano for 10 years (50 Cent wanna try some piano playin? haha). 7.5/10 I'm usually not into Japanese rap but this song is just fun! I really like the melody and the rhythms. Quite the catchy song! And Diggy-MO's voice kinda reminds me of the great singer Rob Dougan (totally different style I know...).

Soul Eater - New OP: Papermoon by Tommy heavenly6

Yay, Soul eater finally has a second OP!! After three ED, it's about time they changed their Opening song (which I loved by the way: T.M. Revolution rocks!). By the way, I'm not even watching the show anymore, I got bored around episode 18, maybe I'll return to it if I have nothing better to watch (which I have at the moment, believe me!).

7.5/10 This OP is called Papermoon by Tommy heavenly6. It kind of reminds me of High and Mighty Colors because of the electric guitars and the female vocals. Anyway, it's a great rock number. UPDATE: Download the full high quality song here!
