Casshern Sins Special Complete

While most of us are waiting impatiently for the Casshern Sins OST, here's something that can make the wait more bearable: A special compilation album entitled "Casshern Sins Special Complete". It includes the TV versions of the OPs and EDs from Casshern Sins, some of the insert songs, BGM tracks, and the OP for the original Casshern series from 1973. It's a basically a Casshern pot-pourri!

6/10 All I can say after listening to this album, is that I can't wait for the "real" Casshern Sins OST! It's like they're teasing us with this album. I don't quite understand the logic of it. Why don't we have the full version of the beautiful insert song "a path" by Nami Miyahara (see my posts on the insert songs here)?? The Instrumental version is fine, but the real version would have been better! Thank god, they gave us SKY which is awesome. My favorite track of the album is LUNA, such a wonderful and sad song!! I'm not a big fan of OP for the original Casshern series by Isao Sasaki though. Too cheesy for my taste!

Casshern Sins - Full OP version

The OP single for the awesome new show Casshern Sins is out. The song is Aoi Hana by Color Bottle. I already wrote a post about it (here), and I gave it a 4.5/10 rating at the time. But after listening to the full version and getting used to the song I'll finally give it a 5.5/10. It hasn't convinced me that much yet. I know so many people love that song, but I'm not a fan of the tune.

New Series OP and ED - Casshern Sins

I thought it would be a good idea to start reviewing some OPs and EDs from this new anime fall 2008 season. I still haven't found the time to watch any new shows yet, but I already know the ones that I'll watch. So this is the first OP and ED from a show I'm hoping to watch soon: Casshern Sins
4.5/10 The OP is Aoi Hana by Color Bottle (download the full OP single here!)

5/10 And this is the ED: Reason by K∧N∧

Those two songs sound quite bland. Nothing special really. The singer from the OP reminds me of Sting though. Their voices sound similar, or maybe I'm just hallucinating??
Conclusion: Nothing to see here, so move along please...
