Anime Music Blind Test 7
1. This post is just an excuse to post the picture of the creepy stalker dude from Perfect Blue... (In case you guys haven't noticed I'm a big fan of weird, creepy or disturbing anime pictures, so if you have any, send them please...)
2. I'm getting really frustrated that all my Anime Music Blind Tests end really quickly because of people finding out the right answers too fast! LOL just kidding! It's really nice to see that a lot of people want to play this guessing game and that so many of my readers have a vast knowledge of anime music!
So let's see if you can find out what the new mystery anime song is... Please write down your answers in the comment section (which anime, composer, song title and most important of all, who is the crazy stalker dude?)...
You can also download the song here in case the flash player isn't working.
Have fun!!

Answer for Anime Music Blind Test 6
10/10 Sadame is truly a masterpiece in my opinion! And the guitar version is as beautiful as the other versions... Sato Naoki is a master at composing haunting themes like this. What a beautiful sad song!
Here's a really nice AMV I found featuring the song, with clips from Elfen Lied, one of my favorite animes ever! Beware, it contains some pretty gory scenes...

Answer for Anime Music Blind Test 5
9.5/10 I've never heard the original song, so the first time I watched Only Yesterday, I couldn't help but fall instantly in love with the song. It is one of the most touching ballads I have ever heard, and I love Harumi Miyako's mature and dramatic voice. When you're used to young J-Pop singers, it's a real change!
Here's the original music video of the song:Thursday, December 4, 2008

Answer for Anime Blind Test 4
Download the full song here.
9/10 After All is from the Turn a Gundam Movie, and like the rest of the Soundtrack for the series and the movie, it's composed by Yoko Kanno. This song is a beautiful ballad with incredible vocals. It also reminds me of the type of songs that are used in Disney movies. It has that same kind of quality to it. Nice job Yoko!
Donna Burke is an australian singer who's been living in Japan since 1996. Burke has had over 10 years of classical voice lessons, and does jazz, classical, techno, folk, and rock concerts and because of this, she has been described in reviews as "one of the world's most versatile singers". Her voice can be heard on many anime and video game soundtracks, including Turn-A Gundam, Haibane Renmei, Vandread, Tokimeki Memorial, Tales of Legendia and Final Fantasy...
Here's a nice live rendition of the song:

Anime Music Blind Test 4
It's been a while since the last Anime Music Blind Test. Who will guess the new mystery anime song this time?? And let me tell you this: this time it's a real hard guess... (or not!)
Write your answers in the comment section (either the Anime, the Song title or singer is fine).

Answer for Anime Music Blind Test 3
Mystery solved! The answer to the third Anime Music Blind Test is indeed Dragoon no Tatakai from the Scrapped Princess OST! Composer is Hikaru Nanase. This is definitely the best song from the soundtrack. Scrapped Princess is a beautiful science-fiction anime and just listening to this song made me watch the whole series. Prior to the song, I didn't know anything about the show...
9/10 Here's this beautiful epic song again:
And here's a better picture that does more justice to the show. The first one was a screenshot that made me lolz.

Anime Music Blind Test 3
Time for another shot at a new Anime Music Blind Test. Who will guess the mystery anime song this time??
The rules again: Just guess from which anime this song is, and/or from which composer and/or title of the track. And then post your answer in the comments below. Pretty simple right! A small hint: I'm currently watching the show from which this song comes from. (not really a hint hehe)
You can also download the song here!

9/10 Ai Ga Osietekureta is one of my favorite EDs ever! It's a sad and romantic song with a beautiful melody! I hope you all enjoyed it! Here's the English version that came with the English dubbed version. The singer has a nice voice, even if it doesn't sound as fragile as Houko Kuwashima's voice. But it's worth a listen! Check it out:

Anime Music Blind Test 2
I wasn't planning on doing another Anime Music Blind Test so soon, but since the first one worked out so well, I thought I might give it another round! I even changed my mind, and didn't choose a difficult song. This should be an easy guess... or not!
Can you guess from which anime this song comes from? And who's singing it??
You can also download the song here for those who have trouble with the player!
So give me your answers in the comments!!
Update: What's wrong guys?? Still haven't guessed what that song is? And I thought I was nice to give you such an easy song...
Answer for Anime Music Blind Test 1

An update on my First Anime Music Blind Test! Someone found the answer today! I thought it would take longer than that... Congratulations to Anonymous who found out it was from the OST of Burst Angel (Bakuretsu Tenshi).
9/10 It's a track called Shinrai no Theme (信頼のテーマ) by Nishida Masara. The OST for Burst Angel has a couple of great tracks by the way!!
See you soon for a next edition of my Anime Music Blind Test! I'll try and make it harder next time!!
